OpenSSL Security Vulnerability as of June 6, 2014
On June 6, 2014, the OpenSSL team announced an OpenSSL Security Vulnerability pertaining to a client and server SSL/TLS issue. Hackers can use the Main in the Middle Attack approach to attack the vulnerability, decrypting and altering the communication on a compromised client or server.
We highly advise you to examine your important systems that use the open-source TLS and SSL protocol, particularly the server that houses sensitive data, and to check the OpenSSL website for the security patch that will address the problem.
